    This could be just the site I need. I am going to New England next Fall (we call it Autumn over here in the UK) for a motor holiday and I was wondering whether to try to get get North American maps for my Tomtom 820 or try to hire a satnav locally. Would you know of a suitable app for my Samsung Galaxy?

    Peter, Google Maps Navigation works really well. Another popular navigation app is Waze. Of course with the price of mobile data, renting the satnav when you hire the car could be a cheaper option.
