With the end of year approaching quickly (along with finals and graduation…) you probably don’t have time to think about the logistics of how you are going to move back home or to your new “big kid” job. To make matters worse, you don’t own a car. No car, no problem; we figured it out for you.
To start off you should decide whether you want to drive a moving truck cross-country or have your stuff arrive at your door-step with Collegeboxes® or a U-Box container. Collegeboxes® is also a great alternate option for those who don’t have a driver’s license either!
If you are going the U-Box portable storage or moving truck route, you will need some moving supplies to get everything packed and loaded. Here are the links to some of the moving supplies in the infographic:
- (1) Packing Paper
- (2) Paper Tape
- (5) Medium Boxes
- (7) Small Boxes
- (1-2) Twin or Full Mattress Bags
- (1) 5″ Mover’s Stretch Plastic Wrap
- (5) Large Boxes
- (3) Extra-Large Boxes
- (1) Utility Knife
- (3) Furniture Pads
- (3) Space Saver Wardrobe Boxes
- (1) Tie-Down Rope
After your cross-country move you will probably be depleted of all energy, so remember to book your Moving Help® to help you do all your unloading once you get there. Moving without a car is not impossible; no car, no problem! Check out the infographic below to help you plan a small cross-country move without a car.
