So you’re about to move to Simpson College! Founded in 1860 by the Iowa United Methodist Church, Simpson sits in Indianola, 12 miles south of Des Moines. It is an undergraduate liberal arts school. Prepare to hit the books on this pleasant 85 acre campus! Here are some Simpson facts and moving tips for your journey:
Simpson College is recognized for its impressive programs by Peterson’s Competitive Colleges and U.S. News and World Report. Over 85 percent of professors have the highest degrees in their field, and the student-professor ratio is 13 to 1. Simpson has 80 majors, minors and programs. Their programs include:

Students take what’s called The Simpson Colloquium their first semester, which is designed to adjust them to campus life. The curriculum works Embedded Skills into many courses. Their purpose is to prepare students to be innovative problem-solvers in the future.

Getting Around During School
