Tips for College Packing Using Collegeboxes
If you’re overwhelmed with all the stuff you have, it might be a good time to clean out your closet. This will allow you to pack quicker and ensure you are only packing what you will actually use.
Wondering what fits in a Collegebox? Our boxes were designed to fit many items:
- Trash can
- Office supplies
One box can fit seven pairs of jeans, ten t-shirts, three sweatshirts, bedding, towels AND a trash can. The key is to make use of your space.
Be sure to maximize space by filling the box up to the crease at the top as shown in the picture on the left below. Don’t go over the crease line; this allows the flaps to come together and be securely taped shut.
Pro Tip: We recommend that you keep the box under 50lbs, so everything arrives safely. But, your package will still ship if it is under 70lbs.
College packing can seem like a daunting task at first. But, it doesn’t have to be when you pack smart with Collegeboxes. After all, you just have to pack it up and we’ll take care of shipping it to school for move in day, picking it up on move out day, and storing it over breaks.
